SS-2004 is a high performance thermally conductive liquid gap filling material. It is formulated to develop a soft, form in place elastomer ideal for coupling hot PC board components to heat sinks. It is supplied as a two part, 1:1 mix ratio silicone that when mixed, cures at room temperature, or when exposed to heat results in a cured elastomer in 5 minutes.

Mixing Instructions
The preferred method of mixing and application of SS-2004 is by using a 1:1 mix ratio by volume dispensing unit through a static mixer. This can be accomplished manually in a dual syringe dispenser or through automated dispensing from pails.Handling precautions
Avoid contact with tin cured RTV’s, sulphur compounds, azides, imides, latex rubber gloves, and amines as cure system can be deactivated

Packaging
SS-2004 is available in 400 ml. dual syringes and 80 lb. kits. This product is also available in customer defined packaging sizes, upon request.
Curing
Room temperature cures are completed within hours and heated cures occur in 5 minutes.

Limitations
Allow to fully cure before putting assembly into service. Ensure enough product remains between flanges to be effective in an assembly.
Handling and safety
For maximum shelf life, keep containers sealed when not in use. Keep out of the reach of children. Uncured sealant irritates eyes and skin. Refer to MSDS.Shelf-life
Sealed containers are guaranteed for 1 year from the ship date when stored in a cool dry area below 70 F.
