SS-28 is an electrically conductive, addition curing silicone. SS-28 is a 1-Part silicone that when applied to the substrate followed by a short heat cure, allows handling of the assembly within minutes. SS-28 works well in manual and automatic dispensing equipment.

Curing
Typical utilization involves dispensing in open air and after exposure to heat, an electrically conductive rubber is formed
Handling precautions
Avoid contact with tin cured RTV’s, sulphur compounds, azides, imides, latex rubber gloves, and amines as cure system can be deactivated
Method of Application
Dispense sealant onto part. Mate parts, ensuring not all of the product is squeezed out of flange assembly. Allow to cure.

Adhesion
This product offers primerless adhesion to plastics, metals and typical substrates.
Service temperature
-65 to 250 C continuous
Limitations
Do not use product in solvent or fuel immersion applications. Allow to fully cure before putting assembly into service.

SS-28 is available in 10.3oz cartridges and 40 lb. pails
Handling and safety
For maximum shelf life, keep containers sealed when not in use. Keep out of the reach of children. Uncured sealant irritates eyes and skin. Refer to MSDS.
Shelf-life
Sealed containers are guaranteed for 6 months from the ship date when stored in a cool dry area below 70 F.

This product has not been tested for, and is therefore not recommended for,
uses for which prolonged contact with mucous membranes, abraded skin, or blood
is intended; or for uses which implantation within the human body is intended.
